Corks popping off bottles of bubbly. A sea of smart suits and colourful dresses. And an unmissable buzz of excitement in the air. It’s time for this year’s Royal Ascot.

We’re so excited to be working with Royal Ascot again. Our shared love of style and British tradition makes this a partnership made in heaven (if we do say so ourselves). It’s now our third year as an Official Handbag Licensee and we’re marking the occasion with a brand-new collection.
Created by our team of talented in-house Designers, these new accessories are inspired by the joy of a day at the races. And there’s nothing more joyful than returning to your favourite event of the summer, don’t you think? Sally, our Senior Designer who drew the fantastic illustrations, agrees.

We won’t keep you waiting any longer. It’s time to officially introduce our latest Royal Ascot x Radley London 2022 collection.
From a neutral palette of Chalk, Blush and Butterscotch to fun pops of colour with Cucumber green and fresh Mango. We chose colours that captured the light and joyful side of summer days and made sure they matched the formal dress code perfectly.
In three of these shades is our favourite ‘90s baguette clutch, Cranwell Close. As always, its compact shape is crafted with an adjustable soft leather handle. Tie it short and carry as a clutch, or extend it to slip it into the crook of your elbow. (We’d recommend the latter. You’ll need your hands free to hold those glasses of Champagne.)
You might recognise a few more of the handbags in this collection too, including our saddle-shaped Grosvenor and signature Cording Street styles. Their soft pastel leathers make the perfect backdrops for the hand-drawn horse, bunting and floral prints.
Then there’s the unique details. The kind that combine the heritage of the event with our expert leather craftsmanship. We’re talking about the inlaid leather appliqué, the hand-crafted whipstitching and the rattan basket weaving. (Even we’re in awe of the creativity that’s dreamt up in our London Design Studio.)

It wouldn’t be a Royal Ascot collection without equestrian inspiration. Alongside the saddle bag shapes and horse detailing, we’ve added lots of shiny gold hardware. The sliding chain strap on our race-day edition of Mill Bay and the bridle-like loops on our rounded canteen bag are just two of the places you’ll see it.
Placing a bet on race day? It's not too optimistic to find somewhere to store your winnings. Something like one of our Royal Ascot purses. Both crafted with leather punch stitching, screen prints and charming strawberry zip pullers.
