Our New Season Footwear Will Put A Spring In Your Step
09 March 2023
Sunny optimism. Can you feel it? It’s in the air at Radley London, because we’ve just launched our new season footwear collection (and we kick-started our Spring campaign last week). With something for every moment, including cool-and-casual trainers, leather sandals and classic loafers, these styles will have you feeling ready for the season ahead. We’d even say they’ll put a spring in your step.
Starting with the perfect transitional style. Because we’ve taken features from autumn’s popular Keystone Crescent Chelsea boots – the chunky cleated sole, contrast heel trim and durable leather – and added them to the new Harewood Row loafers. There’s no cap on their versatility. Jeans or miniskirts, with tights or socks. You name it, it works.
The same is true for Trinity Street. A sleeker take on the same loafer silhouette, crafted with a low, stacked heel instead. And our shiny Heirloom plaque hardware adds the finishing touch to both.
Before you know it, your big coats will be at back of the wardrobe and you’ll be thinking about the shoes you need in your spring-summer collection. Our recommendation? The Trinity Way mules (left). They’re just like the dainty flats on fashion insiders’ most-wanted lists. Effortless, elegant, expertly crafted. The list goes on. You’ll see the same square toe, padded insole and layered leather band on the Caradoc Crescent sandals (middle) too. Perfect for spotting cherry blossom trees and having the first picnic of the year.
Everyone’s favourite double-band leather sandals are back. Bury Walk (right) is our own edition, complete with waxed-edge leather straps and ring hardware. And that feeling of walking on a cloud? That’ll be the moulded, shock-absorbing midsole cushioning every step.
Whether enjoying a sunset on the beach or a slow stroll in the sunshine. Our espadrilles will give you that stepping-into-summer feeling. We’ve combined our signature leather craftsmanship with that of Spanish espadrille experts to create these two jute designs; Glasshouse Walk with its flatform sole and Glasshouse Street with the chunky wedge (listed by Vogue as one of this season’s biggest footwear trends).
You could also turn to our Cherry Garden Pier sandals (above right) if you were looking for something with a little extra height. A ‘70s style with cross-over leather straps and a comfortable flared block heel, they’ll be the hardest working pair in your wardrobe
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again (and shout it from the rooftops too). Leather trainers are the ultimate style. And because you can wear them everywhere, with everything, they need to be made to last. Our Malton collection fits the bill; there’s the Heirloom edition, complete with embossed Scotties; the Metal Logo pair, which combines simplicity with shiny metallic trims; and our unlined trainers that will fit like a glove. (All thanks to the soft, tumbled leather that moulds quickly to your foot.) New for spring but made for life, because you’ll be wearing these all year round.
